Shared By Bryan, "Well Brent and all my Wall fans just wanted you to know that I tried H.Jonez suggestion when He posted on my last Wall, 'The one beef I have about most wallpapers is that the model looks like he is standing in front of a design, rather than being in or a part of it. In this particular case, it would be so easy to put him IN the picture by having one or two thin strips of the swirls come in front of him'. And while I tried this, neither my Partner nor I really like it!!! And I think my Partner said it the best when He reminded Me that the reason I'm creating these Wallpapers is for the Studs that are on them and they should standout. So I have attached both versions, version #1 is the way I have been doing them and version #2 is with H.Jonez suggestion and hopefully some of my wall fans will post a comment and let us know which they prefer? Thanks in advance if you do. Bryan"
Well Bryan, while I totally understood what H. Jonez was talking about and thought possibly He was right and that I have been doing so many of my walls over the last many years the wrong way, but now that I see it, well I'm kinda glad I have been doing it the way I have. And I totally agree with your partner and that is the Studs on the Walls is why all of Us have these Wallpapers on Our Desktop's and I think they should standout also! So with all this said, let me be the first to Vote for Your Version #1 and hoping your blog fan will weigh in on this one for you with their comments to let you know how they feel, but if they don't please remember that 2 of your walls made it into the top 10 walls that were downloaded within the 1st three months of this Blog Bryan. OK? Ok. And thanks a million for sharing both versions Bryan and looking forward to what's NEXT from You Wallpaper Buddy! Wall Hugs to You Bryan.

I agree with your partner Bryan and I love all the walls that you have shared and Blue Spin was just awesome. The more the guy is standing out the better it is for me and even better is when they are standing up, if you know what I mean :) So my vote is for version 1, Gilbert
Why would you even think that anyone that is giving you advise on how to improve your Wallpapers, which have always been just so fabulous the way they are, that thinks that any one with a standard monitor has a crappy one and go to Ebay and buy a $80.00 Wide Screen to enjoy his work is going to improve them Bryan? DA! My Vote is for VERSION #1 without a doubt! Just keep doing what you have be doing, Jonathan and Brent thanks a million for your answer to my question and posting it, that was a big help to me and Love EVERYTHING that You are doing HERE!
Bryan, Jonathan took many of the words I wanted to share with You right out of my month before I had the time to post them and I'm beginning to understand more about this dude and why his Yahoo Group failed! For it appears to me that it wasn't because of focusing more on artistic critique than the process (how to) of making the wallpapers, as He stated, but more on the Monitor himself! For He seems to come across to me as it is either His way or the byway. So my vote is for Version #1 and thanks for what your are doing and sharing here and sorry you went through all that extra work for nothing! Eyes4You
My dear friend HJ does make a point about including the model into the piece rather than being stamped in front of the piece. This inclusiveness has a lot to do with the background subject. In this case a swirl doesn't represent what HJ means, take that swirl around the model and you have a totally different effect. I also like version #1, because the swirl does nothing but highlight the model, if you want the swirl in front of the model, it has to be longer and/or in a motion blur effect.
Wallpapers are in the creators imagination, and in the viewers eye, if you enjoy putting a model in front of a pretty background, that is your style and keep doing what you like. HJ and myself, we like to build up our backgrounds and include, in most cases, the model as being in the body of the wallpaper.
Anonymous I don't agree with you on his Group Failed! I was with the group since day one, when were you a member? Back then, before Brent, if you wanted a pat on the back for garbage, you posted to Hunkz. At least his group gave an honest critique, but that was/is not what people want/ed to read.

No good deed goes unpunished. LOL
Hey Guys, sorry for the delay in thanking you for all your comments, we have been away enjoying a 3 day weekend get away and I didn't mean to start such a fuss over all this but at least I now know what to share in the future and Gilbert I'm guessing your talking about guys with a woody as opposed to guys sitting down? :) LOL Bryan
